Marsaxlokk collected their first three points in the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round League Phase as they defeated Tarxien Rainbows 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
Both sides were hoping to register their first win after Marsaxlokk lost 0-3 to Gzira United and Tarxien were beaten 1-2 by Hamrun Spartans.
Dodo put the Southseasiders ahead on 15 minutes. Eight minutes from time, Tarxien levelled matters through Nhayson but five minutes later, Oualid El Hasni notched the winner for Vincenzo Potenza’s side.
