San Gwann returned to winning ways in the BOV Amateur League I as they defeated Luqa St. Andrew’s 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
Gonzalo Virano put San Gwann ahead on the half-hour and Matteo Vella converted a penalty four minutes from time.
Attard lead the way with 31 points, followed by Qormi on 30, Mqabba 26, Lija 24, Victoria 23, San Gwann 21, Qrendi 18, Pembroke and Xghajra 14, Kirkop and Zejtun 13, Mellieha 11, Luqa 10 and Senglea 7.
