Naxxar Lions returned to winning ways as they defeated Gzira United 4-2 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Tuesday. 

The Lions therefore join Gzira on the 10-point mark. For Gzira, this was the third successive defeat as they go four matches without a win. 

Vitinho put Naxxar ahead on 19 minutes but Maxuell Samurai equalised sixteen minutes in the second half. Two minutes later, Andre made it 2-1 for the Maroons. Gabriel Costa restored equilibrium on 68 minutes before Louis Pahama scored twice on 71 and 98 minutes to hand Naxxar three important points.
