Zabbar hold Valletta in goalless draw

Zabbar St. Patrick earned another precious point as they held Valletta in a goalless draw in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Tuesday.

The Saints, who held Hamrun in a goalless draw during the weekend, earn their second point since the appointment of Gilbert Agius as new coach. Valletta, on the other hand, drop another two important points, having earned just five points from the last five matches.

Ahmed Adebayo had a good shot neutralised by Ignacio Colombo early in the game and then Zean Leonardi had a rising shot tipped into a corner by Adilson Maringa. In the dying minutes, Brandon Paiber, threatened  one e again but the Valletta goalkeeper somehow managed to deflect into a coner.
