Clint Tabone names Women’s Under-16 squad for UEFA Development Tournament

Malta Women’s Under-16 National Team Coach Clint Tabone has announced a 20-player squad for the upcoming UEFA WU16 Development Tournament, to be held in Moldova.

The young Maltese side will be taking on the Faroe Islands, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova in the spaces of a few days.

The first match will see Malta face off against the Faroe Islands on Thursday 12th March, with kick-off at 13:00hrs. This will then be followed up by encounters against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova on Saturday 14th March and Tuesday 17th March, respectively. The match against Bosnia and Herzegovina will kick off at 13:00hrs, while the one against Moldova will kick off at 12:00hrs. All three games will be played at the Football Association of Moldova Technical Centre.

The three encounters will allow the team to gain more experience on the international stage, as they continue their development.
