Vasco Regini names provisional Under-19 squad for UEFA mini-tournament

Malta Under-19 National Team Coach Vasco Regini has announced a 28-player provisional squad for the upcoming UEFA European U19 Championship Qualifying – Round 1 matches.

In the qualifiers, Malta was drawn in Group B4, together with Norway, Albania and Luxembourg. The mini-tournament will take place in Albania.

The first match will see Malta face Norway on Wednesday 25th March, with kick-off at 12:00hrs. The match will take place at the Niko Dovana Stadium in Durres, Albania. Following that, Malta will then be action again on Saturday 28th March, taking on Albania at the House of Football in Tirana, Albania, kicking off at 15:00hrs. Malta’s final match of the group will see them face Luxembourg on Tuesday 31st March at 15:00hrs, with the match being played at the Niko Dovana Stadium.

The matches will determine promotion and relegation ahead of the second round that will be held in autumn of 2026. The third round will be in spring 2027, with the final tournament taking place in Czechia in summer 2027.
