A goal by Kay Axiak on 19 minutes handed Malta a narrow win over Belarus in the second match from Group B1 of Round 2 of the UEFA Under-17 Championship at the Centenary Stadium on Monday.

Malta, therefore, registered a second win in as many matches and considering that Belarus already have obtained six points – two walk-overs over Lithuania and Estonia, a draw with Estonia would be enough for Malta to win the group.
