Zurrieq defeated Marsa 2-1 in a match from the BOV Challenge League Play-Out at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
Leonard Londe put Zurrieq ahead on 34 minutes and although Neil Demanuele equalised just before the end of the first half, Jonathan Monney notched the winner five minutes in added time.
In another match, Vittoriosa Stars defeated Mtarfa 1-0 thanks to a goal by Isaiah Micallef before the end of the first half.
Mgarr United lead the way in the Play-Out with 32 points, followed by Gudja on 26, Zurrieq 24, Santa Lucia 23, Vittoriosa 21, Marsa and Zebbug 13 and Mtarfa -2.
