Malta Women’s National Team Head Coach Manuela Tesse has confirmed the final squad that will travel for the upcoming UEFA Women’s European Qualifiers League B away fixture against Northern Ireland.
Malta face Northern Ireland on Tuesday 14th April, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00hrs (20:00hrs CET). Game will be live on TVMSports+
Defender Stephania Farrugia and forward Sara Saliba have both withdrawn due to injury. They are replaced by Mġarr United defender Maia Debono and midfielder Veronique Mifsud, who returns to the national team setup after a period on the sidelines following an ACL injury sustained last year. Mifsud has since returned to action with Mgarr United.
The squad will be aiming to deliver a disciplined performance away from home before turning attention to the return fixture in Malta.
