A penalty handed leaders Floriana a narrow win over ten-man Naxxar Lions in the opening match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round Top 6 at the Gozo Stadium on Saturday.
The Greens managed to take the lead on 18 minutes when they were awarded a penalty after Mark Fenech brought Paul Mbong down inside the area and Jake Grech converted from the penalty spot.
Naxxar were reduced to ten men after Louis Pahama was sent off on 69 minutes.
