Myles Beerman was the hero for Floriana as he scored twice in a 2-0 win over Tarxien Rainbows in a match from the YoHealth  Malta Premier Closing Round league phase at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday. 

The Greens therefore march on at the top of the table while Tarxien suffer a fifth defeat in six matches. 

Beerman handed Floriana the lead after just three minutes. the Greens could have doubled the score three minutes in the second half when they were awarded a penalty but Mustapha Jah’s effort was neutralised by goalkeeper Aleksander Lubik. However, ten minutes later, Myles Beerman was on target for the Greens for the second time to seal the issue.
