In the other match, University of Malta Futsal defeated GZR Birzebbugia St Peter’s Futsal 5-1 to keep their hopes of finishing top alive. They now have the opportunity to force a decider for first place when they face Luxol St Andrews Futsal on March 20.

While the Premier League awaits its final match to confirm the standings, the Challenger League now moves into the playoff phase, where Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal face Futsal Selection U17 in the quarter-final, with the winner taking on Zejtun Corinthians Futsal in the semi-final, while the other semi-final will be contested between Futsal Selection U19 and Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness.
