Hibernians continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of thirty three year old Brazilian winger Ryder Matos Santos

Ryder Matos started his career with Vitoria in Brazil but moved to Europe at an early age. He had a spell on loan at Fiorentina in Italy before actually joining the club from where he was loaned to Cordoba CF in Spain and Carpi inItaly. He then moved to Udinese and eventually played for Hellas Verona, FC Luzern in Switzerland, Empoli, Perugia and Trapani. 

The Paolites had earlier appointed Tuğberk Tanrıvermiş as their new coach and signed Joseph Mbong, Nathan Agius, Leandro Lacunza, Olivier N’Zi, Moritz Römling and Pablo Sanchez.
