Hibernians secured the services of twenty nine year old Austrian forward Alex Sobczyk.

Sobczyk started his career at Wiener Sportklub and then moved to Rapid Wien who loaned him to FC LIefering, SKN St. Polten, Wiener Neustadt and Floridsdorfer AC. He then moved to Spartak Trnava in Czechia and eventually Gornik Zabrze in Poland, Doxa Katokopia in Cyprus, Piast Gliwice in Poland, Skalica in Slovakia, HSK Posusje in Bosnia and Herzegovina before returning to Floridsdorfer AC last January.

The Paolites had earlier appointed Tuğberk Tanrıvermiş as their new coach and signed Joseph Mbong, Nathan Agius, Leandro Lacunza, Joy-Slayd Mickels, Fabian Jankovic, Boris Druga, Jamie Wahling, Ryder Matos, Olivier N’Zi, Moritz Römling and goalkeepers Matteo Cardinali and Pablo Sanchez.
