The 2026/27 futsal season has been officially launched during an event held at the Enemed Distribution Centre, where the opening fixtures for both the men’s and women’s competitions were also presented.

Enemed will once again serve as the league’s main sponsor, continuing its collaboration with the Futsal Malta Association and its support towards the development of futsal in Malta.

The men’s competition will feature Luxol St Andrews Futsal, University of Malta Futsal, Swieqi United FC, Birkirkara AFC, Lija Athletic Futsal Team, Marsaskala, Żejtun WAA, Naxxar Lions FC and Siġġiewi FC Futsal, together with the national U19 and U17 selections.

The opening Enemed Futsal League fixtures are:
Wednesday 23 September – U17 Selection vs Lija Athletic – 20:40
Friday 25 September – Luxol St Andrews vs Marsaskala – 20:40
Saturday 26 September – Siġġiewi FC vs Naxxar Lions – 16:45
Saturday 26 September – University of Malta Futsal vs Żejtun WAA – 18:45
Sunday 27 September – U19 Selection vs Birkirkara AFC – 15:00

All the opening men’s fixtures will be played at the National Sports School.

The women’s competition will feature Parr Mela Rockets, Mġarr United, Birkirkara FC, Birżebbuġa St Peter’s, University of Malta Futsal and Zero Sei Women’s Futsal.

The opening Enemed Women’s Futsal League fixtures are:
Tuesday 13 October – Parr Mela Rockets vs Mġarr United – 19:00
Tuesday 13 October – Birkirkara FC vs Birżebbuġa St Peter’s – 20:30
Wednesday 14 October – University of Malta Futsal vs Zero Sei – 20:30

These matches will be played at De La Salle College.
