Vittoriosa Stars and coach Winston Muscat agreed not to renew the latter’s contract.

Muscat had led the Stars to promotion at season 2009/10 but they were relegated to Division 1 after just one season in the top division.

In a statement, the committee of Vittoriosa Stars F.C. thanked Mr Winston Muscat for all his work during the past two years.

The statement said the committee will definitely not forget the dedication, discipline and the sense of organisation that he has instilled in the Club.

The club wished Mr Winston Muscat every success in his work in future.
