Former Malta international attacking midfielder Udochukwu Nwoko will be resuming his career with First Division side Gudja United.
A product of the Paola Hibernians nursery, he made his Premier League debut in season 2003/04 but his breakthrough was when he joined Xewkija Tigers in Gozo where he scored fifteen goals in seventeen matches. The following season, he moved back to Malta where he joined Mosta on loan, establishing himself in the Premier League. Back with the Paolites, mid-way through season 2006/07, he was transferred to Marsaxlokk.
In 2007, he moved to Portuguese club Leixões, where he marked his debut with a goal against giants Benfica. When his contract was terminated, he had a short spell with Náutico of Brazil and eventually played for Panthrakikos in the Greek Super League, Doxa Katokopia in Cyprus, Pas Hamedan in Iran and Neath in Wales.
Nwoko returned to Malta in 2012 and after a short spell with Hibernians, he joined Floriana in the January 2013 transfer window, playing for the Greens until the end of that season.
