The closing activity of the Tarxien Rainbows Nursery and Michael Degiorgio Summer School of Football was held last week.
During this summer activity, more than 70 kids between the ages of 5 and 12 years took part. The kids were divided into 5 groups according to their age. Training sessions were held in the months of July and August. 
The aim of the summer school was to increase their skills in soccer and at the same time have fun. 
During the closing ceremony, the kids were addressed by the nursery President Mr. Louis Zammit who stressed on the importance of doing physical activity. He thanked Mr. Michael Degiorgio for setting up this summer activity for the third year running. An activity which once again turned out to be a success. 
He also thanked all the sponsors, Go Mobile, Tuttosport, Azzopardi Holdings, Fred Bongusto Caterers and others for their support in this summer activity. 
Following the speech, the nursery President and Mr. Degiorgio distributed certificates to all the kids.
