Under-21 side shares spoils with Wales U-19

The Malta Under-21 side continued its preparation ahead of next month’s UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against France with a friendly match against the Wales Under-19 side at the MFA Training Grounds on Tuesday.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw with the locals notching the equaliser twelve minutes from time thanks to Warren Chircop after the visitors had taken the lead during the first half.
The Welsh Under-19 side will be in action once again on Thursday with a friendly match against the Malta Under-19 side which is currently preparing for the UEFA Under-19 mini-tournament which will be played in Malta in November.
