Open day at Hamrun Spartans Nursery

School is back and so is football! On Saturday 3rd October, 2009 boys and girls aged 4 to 13 years will have the opportunity for some moments of fun and, at the same time, experience the organized environment of the Hamrun Spartans FC Youth Nursery. The event is a unique opportunity for young kids to train for free at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, a venue where top local footballers play competitive matches. Everyone is invited to attend.
Children can wear a plain kit during these sessions. However, football shirts of other teams (including foreign) and football shoes with metal studs will not be allowed. The main pitch will be divided into four mini-pitches and practice sessions will be carried out by qualified coaches for the different age categories, as follows:
From 08:30 to 10:30: Boys born 2003/2004/2005, 2001, 1999, 1997/1996
From 10:30 to 12:30: Boys born 2002, 2000 and 1998
Sessions for girls (ages 4 to 13) will be conducted separately between 10:30 and 12:30.
Prior to the session, kids should be accompanied by their parents to the Nursery Centre (near the five-a-side pitch) where they will proceed to the main pitch. Parents can only watch their kids from the stands on the opposite side of the Nursery Centre.
The ambitious aim of Hamrun Spartans FC Youth Nursery for this year is to establish itself as one of the top nurseries in Malta, both in terms of organization and in terms of results.
