Late goal denies Under-19 side a win

A goal two minutes from time denied Malta the three points in the last game against Cyprus in the UEFA Under-19 Championship Group 10 mini-tournament at the Centenary Stadium on Tuesday. The clash ended in a 1-1 draw.
Following a goalless first half, Clifford Gauci put Malta ahead on 64 minutes. However substitute Markos Michail notched the equaliser for Cyprus on the 88th.

Malta placed third in the group thanks to a better goal-difference than Cyprus.
The Netherlands won the tournament after beating the Czech Republic 1-0 in a match at the Hibs Ground. Lorenzo Ebecilio scored the all-important goal on 41 minutes.
