FIFA Women's World Cup: Ya?mur brace sinks Malta

A brace by Uraz Ya?mur gave Turkey a 2-0 win over Malta in a match from Group 5 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

Ya?mur put the visitors ahead on 22 minutes and then doubled the score twelve minutes in the second half.

Next month, Malta will be travelling to Turkey for a game scheduled on April 11. Pierre Brincat’s side then hosts England on May 20 before two final games away from home against Austria on June 9 and Spain on June 24.
