Malta Under-21 international striker Terence Vella joined champions Birkirkara on loan from Gudja United.

Vella, who scored the goal for Malta in the friendly match against Wales on Tuesday, played for Pietà Hotspurs and Mosta in Division 1 in the past two years.

The Stripes have so far secured the services of Brazilian goalkeeper Ezequiel Lovizon, Andrew Decesare and Argentinean striker Emiliano Lattes.
