The national futsal team leaves Malta, destination Libya on Sunday, to take part in the 1st Mediterranean Futsal Cup which will be held between November 1 and 10.

Malta will be playing in Group C together with Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus and Tunisia. The games are scheduled to Tuesday 2, Wednesday 3 and Friday 5. In the second phase, the team will play another three matches which will determine the placings. Sixteen teams are taking part in the tournament.
