Mdina Knights and Kirkop United registered wins in two matches from the BOV Third Division on Tuesday.
In Section B, Kirkop beat Gozo FC 5-1 to move second, one point ahead of Luqa St. Andrew’s.
The main highlight of the match was however was an act of fair play. With the score still 0-0, Kirkop kicked the ball off the field to allow treatment to an injured Gozitan player. When the play restarted, the ball was handed by the Gozitans to Kirkop but the ball from the back pass was completely missed by the Kirkop goalkeeper allowing it to sail into the net.
