Spanish goalkeeper Jorge Mora and Brazilian defender Rodrigo Pereira are no longer players of Birkirkara FC after the former asked to be released by the club for personal reasons and the latter had his contract terminated by the club.

Mora made his return for the Stripes this summer after forming part of the squad which won the Premier League title in season 2009/10. Rodrigo, on the other hand, joined the club this season, scoring two goals in thirteen matches.

Birkirkara, who are currently joint-fourth in the BOV Premier League table, are expected to strengthen their squad with the signing of both local and foreign players in January.
