After releasing Brazilians Jorge Santos Silva and Jackson Lima Sequeira, Sliema Wanderers managed to secure the services of Argentine striker Emiliano Lattes.
Lattes joined Marsaxlokk this summer but left the club in November.
The 26-year old arrived in Malta in September 2009 to join Msida St. Joseph. The following season, he joined Sliema Wanderers and played for them in the UEFA Europa League matches. However he was released after just a few weeks and joined Birkirkara. With the Stripes, he scored nine goals.
Lattes is the second major signing for the Wanderers after Ryan Fenech joined the club on loan from Valletta.
