Birkirkara secured the BOV Women’s First Division League title after defeating Pembroke Athleta 8-0 to move fourteen points ahead of second-placed Mosta.

With two games to go, the Stripes lead the way with 48 points, followed by Mosta on 34, Hibernians 32, Gozo 28 and Pembroke Athleta 19. Mosta and Hibs have a game in hand.

Raiders (Luxol) and Marsa withdrew from the competition.

In the BOV Women’s Second Division, leaders Mgarr United registered their sixteenth win as they beat Zurrieq 4-0.

Kirkop United and St. Venera Yellow Blues shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw while Tarxien Rainbows and Naxxar Lions defeated Lija / Iklin 6-0 and Zejtun Corinthians 3-0 respectively.
