The end-of-season presentation of the St.Lucia Football Nursery brought to an end a memorable season for the new committee and coaches of the Nursery.

A football festival for all the kids from the different age groups was organized during the morning and in the evening, all players who formed part in the Under-7, Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and even Under-19 were presented with commemorative trophies.

The Chairman Ian Spiteri thanked all the committee and coaches for their hard work during this first season. Mayor Frederick Cutajar and President of the parent club Dr. Victor Scerri also thanked those involved for their hard work through out the season.

During the event, Rennie Zerafa on behalf of Puttinu Cares, councillor Terence Ellul and Head Coach Renzo Attard announced that an agreement has been reached over a project meant to help children of Puttinu Cares for the coming season. Zerafa thanked the Nursery for their cooperation and said this was an excellent initiative which other nurseries could follow.

Besides parents, relatives and friends, members of Sta. Lucia F.C. together with all local councilors were present for the event.
