Defender Steve Bezzina joined Mosta, signing a five-year deal with the club. The Valletta FC product joins the club from Msida St. Joseph as part of the deal which took goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo from Msida to Valletta.

The 25-year old defender, who played with the national teams at all levels from the Under-17 to the senior side, made his Premier League debut for Valletta in season 2005/06. He joined Sliema Wanderers in summer 2010, spending the last two years on loan.

A product of San Gwann, Manuel Bartolo made his Premier League debut in season 2005/06 with Msida St. Joseph. He spent the last two years on loan with Birkirkara and Floriana respectively.
