National coach Pietro Ghedin and Malta Under-21 coach Ray Farrugia named the provisional squads for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifiers in programme next month.
The senior side hosts Armenia on September 7 and then faces Italy in Modena on September 11 in the first two matches from Group B of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The Under-21 side, on the other hand, faces Ukraine in the final match from Group 2 of the UEFA Under-21 qualifiers.
