Ta’ Xbiex SC defeated Gozitan side Munxar Falcons 2-1 in the game which marked their official debut on Sunday – a game from the first round of the U*BET FA Trophy.

In other matches, Marsaskala defeated Victoria Hotspurs 3-0 and Nadur Youngsters beat Gharb Rangers 8-1.

The teams which qualified so far are Third Division sides Swieqi United, Senglea Athletic, Ta’ Xbiex, Marsaskala, Marsa, Luqa St. Andrews and Gozitans Kercem Ajax, Nadur Youngsters, SK Victoria Wanderers, Xewkija Tigers and Sannat Lions.

The last game from the first round will be played on Tuesday as Xaghra United take on Oratory Youths in an all-Gozitan clash.
