Mosta target fourth consecutive win

Mosta will be aiming for a fourth consecutive win on Saturday as they take on Floriana in one of the two BOV Premier League matches in programme at the National Stadium.

The Blues made up for a disappointing start by winning against Sliema, Hamrun and Qormi and are currently fourth.

The Greens lie one point behind them after winning two and two draws. They are coming from a 3-0 win over Rabat Ajax in their last outing.

Floriana could not count on Aaron Brown as he was suspended for three matches and Clyde Borg who was handed a one-match ban.

Meanwhile in the first match, Rabat Ajax take on Sliema Wanderers.

Like Melita, newly-promoted Rabat Ajax are still in search of their first win. They are coming from three consecutive defeats to Birkirkara, Hibernians and Floriana.

The Blues, on the other hand, were in excellent form last week as they handed Birkirkara their first defeat, beating them 3-1.

Rabat welcome back Nerijus Astrauskas after serving a two-match ban but Patrick Borg is suspended. Beppe Muscat is ruled out for Sliema.
