As in previous years, Hamrun Spartans FC Youth Nursery will be organising the Firetech Football Festival, which is now in its fifteenth edition. The event will be held at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Hamrun on the weekend of the 8th and 9th December 2012.

The categories for this year’s edition are as follows:

· Class B – boys born after 1 January 2006
– played on 4 vs 4 basis (no goalkeeper)
– each team can register up to 10 players
– participation fee €50

· Class C – boys born after 1 January 2005
– played on 5 vs 5 basis
– each team can register up to 12 players
– participation fee €50

· Class D – boys born after 1 January 2004
– played on 5 vs 5 basis
– each team can register up to 12 players
– participation fee €60

· Class F – boys born after 1 January 2002
– played on 8 vs 8 basis
– each team can register up to 14 players
– participation fee €70

Each player will be presented with a memento at the end of the festival and a Fair Play Award will be presented to a team in each category. This football festival is being organised with the permission of the Youth and Grassroots Committee.

More details about the festival will be given during a press conference which will be held in late November at Tony Bajada Centre, Hamrun.
