Marsaxlokk defeated Gudja United 3-2 while Zejtun Corinthians beat Mqabba 1-0 in two matches from the BOV First Division at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

The Southseasiders therefore bounced back after two successive defeats while the Corinthians registered a first win after three draws and a defeat in the last four outings.

St. Andrews lead the way with 15 points, followed by Lija on 13, Pietà and Naxxar 11, Vittoriosa and Marsaxlokk 10, Zejtun 9, Gudja 8, Gzira 5, Birzebbuga and Dingli 3 and Mqabba 2.
