More international appointments for referees

The Malta Football Association is pleased to announce the appointment of two more international matches for Maltese FIFA Referees on Wednesday 14th November.

The first match is the continuation of a UEFA Under-17 qualifying match between Wales and Estonia which was abandoned after 26 minutes on Friday 26th October due to heavy snow.

FIFA Referee Clayton Pisani, assisted by Elite Assistant Referee Roberto Vella and match officials from Montenegro – Nikola Razic (Assistant Referee) and Jovan Kaludjerovic (Fourth Official) have been re-appointed by UEFA for the match at the Sportland Arena in Talinn on Wednesday. Mr Jan Fasung (Slovakia) will be the UEFA Delegate and Referee Observer for the match.

The second match is a result of another referees’ exchange agreement, this time with the Czech FA. The Malta FA has appointed FIFA Referee Alan Mario Sant, FIFA Assistant Referee Alan Camilleri and Elite Assistant Referee Duncan Sultana for the Under-21 International Friendly between Czech Republic and Sweden. The match on Wednesday is being played in Prague. Czech match officials will be in Malta for an Under 21 International Friendly in 2013.
