BOV Division 2: Zebbug Rangers maintain unbeaten record

Zebbug Rangers maintained a five-point lead on top the BOV Second Division table as they defeated St. Patrick 2-0 at the Sirens Stadium.

Msida St. Joseph beat Mgarr United 2-1 in another game in St. Paul’s Bay.

Pembroke Athleta dropped another two points as they were held in a 1-1 draw by Zurrieq at the Centenary Stadium. On the other hand, Siggiewi beat Gharghur 1-0.

At the Luxol Stadium, Mellieha registered a first win in over two months as they beat St. George’s 2-0 while San Gwann registered a most comfortable 6-1vwin over St. Venera Lightnings.

Zebbug lead the way with 24 points, five ahead of San Gwann and Fgura, Msida 18, Pembroke 17, St. George’s 15, Siggiewi 14, Zurrieq and St. Patrick 11, Mellieha 10, Kirkop 9, Gharghur 8, St. Venera 6 and Mgarr 5.
