BOV Second Division leaders Zebbug Rangers suffered their first defeat as they lost 4-2 to St. George’s.

Ryan Previ put the Saints ahead on the 7th minute and two minutes later, Wayne Sciberras doubled the score. Osy Lucky Agboegbinna made it 3-0 on 22 minutes. Ryan Previ converted a penalty four minutes in the second half to put Ramon Zammit’s side four goals ahead.

Miguel Francica reduced the gap on 78 minutes for Zebbug and one minute in added time, Mauricio Rodrigues Britto scored a second goal for the Rangers.

Zebbug lead the way with 24 points, followed by San Gwann and Fgura on 19, St. George’s and Msida 18, Pembroke 17, Siggiewi 14, Zurrieq and St. Patrick 11, Mellieha 10, Kirkop 9, Gharghur 8, St. Venera 6, Mgarr 5.
