Mosta release Daniel Bogdanovic

Mosta released Daniel Bogdanovic as the Malta international striker hopes to resume his career in England.

Bogdanovic had joined the Blues in summer after spending two-and-a-half years in England. He had joined Barnsley in the January 2008 transfer window, moving to Sheffield United in summer 2010 but following the Blades’ relegation to League One, he joined Blackpool the following season. In January, he joined Rochdale for a four-week loan, ending the season at Notts County.

After making his Premier League debut with Sliema Wanderers in season 2000/01, Daniel Bogdanovic had a short spell with Vasas SC in Hungary the following season but had to return to Malta, joining Naxxar Lions He then moved to Valletta.
