Hibernians secured the services of the top two scorers in the BOV Premier League last season – Obinna Obiefule and Edison Luis dos Santos.

Obiefule joins Hibernians after starting the season with Mosta while Tarabai returns with the club after an unsuccessful spell with Kecskeméti in Hungary.

Hibernians will be Obiefule’s fifth club in Malta after playing for Hamrun Spartans, Sliema Wanderers, Marsaxlokk and Mosta. This season, he scored 11 goals for the Blues.

Tarabai, on the other hand, arrived in Malta in summer 2010, joining Vittoriosa Stars but last season he moved to Hibernians. This summer, however, he was transferred to the Hungarian club.

Over the past weeks, the Paolites released three strikers – John Nwoba, Allan Kardeck dos Santos and Udochukwu Nwoko.

Meanwhile Jackson di Lima Siqueira signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
