Narrow defeat for Under-19 side to Switzerland

u19-malta-switzerland130319The Malta Under-19 side lost 1-2 to Switzerland in a friendly match at the MFA Training Grounds on Tuesday.

Luke Montebello, who plays for Livorno in Italy, put Malta ahead on the 16th minute but Omar Thali levelled matters on the half-hour and six minutes from time, Kevin Mbabu notched the winner.

Another friendly match is scheduled for Thursday 19th at the MFA Training Grounds, kick-off at 18:30.
