The Malta Under-19 side suffered a 0-5 defeat to Switzerland in a second friendly match at the MFA Training Grounds on Thursday.
The locals controlled their opponents well during the first half despite going one goal down on the 9th minute following a goal by Gregory Karlen. However after the break, the visitors scored four to register a comfortable win. Boris Cespedes doubled the score on 51 minutes. Samuele Campo added another six minutes later and another two goals by Cespedes on 73 and 75 minutes sealed the issue for the visitors.
In a first friendly match on Tuesday, Switzerland won 2-1.
