Birzebbuga St. Peter’s moved four points clear of Dingli Swallows after beating them 3-1 in a direct clash against relegation in the BOV First Division.

James Sammut put the Saints ahead on 41 minutes. Martin Deanov doubled the score on 69 minutes. Kain Roomes pulled one back on the 80th but five minutes later, Felix Peplow sealed the issue with the third goal.

In another match, St. Andrews defeated Marsaxlokk 4-1.
