The fourth edition of the Footy4U Summer Academy will kick off on Monday 1st July and run up to Friday 30th August, with training sessions held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9am till 10:30am at the new resurfaced football pitch at Luxol Sports Club. Ages 7-17.

The boys will be having a half an hour activity every week on the mental side of the game; positive self-talk, confidence, goal setting, etc – values and life-skills which are valuable not solely on Player Development but also on an on-going development basis.

During the Academy, we will have the visit of professional coaches from one of the best Italian Academy Empoli FC, who have signed one of our own boys, Matthew Guillaumier at the end of next year. They will be conducting 8 training sessions, between the 22nd and 27th July, with a double session daily from 9am till 12pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and with a game on the Saturday in front of the italian coaches.

Primato Sport Italia will be our sports supplier and will be providing the kit wear, equipment and footballs and every boy will have their own kit – top shorts and socks, and their haversack, bottle and towel.

At the end of the Academy, the boys will be given a full and comprehensive report on their progress at Footy4U – a report which will be in detail as it’ll compromise of comments from staff coaches on a weekly basis. They will also receive a certificate of attendance.

The full programme – 6 weeks of 3 training sessions a week with F4U staff, the 8 sessions and 1 game at the Empoli Camp, the new F4U kit which includes top, shorts, socks, haversack, bottle and a towel, and the extra talk is Euro 195 (Euro 95 deposit to be paid to confirm registration). One can apply for just the Empoli Camp; the one week programme is Euro 100.
