The Pietà Hotspurs Under-15 side won the double in the competitions organised by the Youth Football Association after defeating Sliema Wanderers 2-1 in the final which was held on Sunday at the Luxol Stadium.
In the semi-finals, Pietà had defeated San Gwann 2-1 while Sliema beat Kirkop United 1-0.
The Hotspurs had ended their commitments on top Section A with 41 points, together with Melita. A decider was therefore necessary to determine the winner and Pietà registered a 2-1 victory to win the section.
