Zebbug Rangers won the second edition of the Trofeo Brenton Mifsud as they defeated hosts Hamrun Spartans 4-2 in a clash between two First Division sides.

Anderson Mendes Ribeiro put Zebbug ahead on 25 minutes but the Spartans levelled matters through Ryan Spiteri on the 40th. Just before half-time, Pignataro put Hamrun 2-1 ahead.

Anderson Mendes Ribeiro restored equilibrium five minutes in the second half before two goals in the dying minutes by Ribeiro and Mauricio Britto handed the Rangers a 4-2 win.
