Ghaxaq moved to a more comfortable mid-table position as they defeated Kalkara 3-0 in a match from the BOV Third Division at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Joseph Meilak put Ghaxaq ahead on the 20th. Mark Ellul doubled the score on 55 minutes and an own goal sealed the issue ten minutes from time.
