Zebbug Rangers returned to winning ways as they beat Msida St. Joseph 2-0. The Rangers therefore join St. Andrews in fourth place, two points behind second-placed Melita and six behind leaders Pietà.

Omar Rababah put them ahead on 66 minutes and two minutes later, John Nwoba doubled the score.

In another match, Zejtun Corinthians defeated Zurrieq 2-1.

Aleksandrs Cekulajevs put Zejtun ahead on 15 minutes. Johan Briffa equalised on the 44th but Cekulajevs converted a penalty on the 64th to hand the Corinthians the three points.

Pietà lead the way with 17 points, followed by Melita on 13, Lija 12, St. Andrews and Zebbug 11, Birzebbuga 10, Gzira and St. Georges 8, Zurrieq, Gudja and Zejtun 7, Msida 1 and Hamrun -3.
