Another heavy defeat for Under-21 side

u21-malta-poland131115The Malta Under-21 side lost 1-5 to Poland in another match from Group 7 of the UEFA Under-21 Championship at the National Stadium on Friday.

For Malta, this was the fifth defeat in the group after three defeats away from home to Poland, Turkey and Greece and a home defeat to Greece last month.

Arkadiusz Milik put the visitors ahead on 28 minutes and the same player doubled the score two minutes from the end of the first half.

Ten minutes in the second half, Michal Chrapek made it 3-0 and Bartlomiej Pawlowski scored the fourth goal on the hour. Arkadiusz Milik added another six minutes later with Steve Pisani scoring a consolation goal for Malta two minutes in added time.
