Hibernians and Birkirkara continue to share the top spot in the BOV Women’s First Division as both registered wins this week.

The Paolites defeated Mgarr United 3-1 on Tuesday while Birkirkara beat Gozo 4-1 at the Kercem Ajax Ground on Sunday.

Pembroke Athleta registered their first win after defeating Raiders (Luxol) 4-3.

In the BOV Women’s Second Division, Hamrun Spartans and Fgura United met for the second time in a week but this time, Hamrun claimed the three points to move three points clear in second place. The Spartans won 2-0 thanks to two first-half goals.

Leaders Tarxien Rainbows beat Lija / Iklin 13-0.
